Bio

ACHARYA weaves visceral rhythms and immersive soundscapes into journeys of depth, joy and intensity.

Originally from Riga, Latvia, Acharya has called Bali home since 2019, playing across the island, from the BaliSpirit Festival to The Yoga Barn, Alchemy Yoga Center and Alegria Festival in Bali Ubud.

Invoking an ecstatic and celestial presence on the dance floor, Acharya is a DJ dedicated to the cosmic groove and divine flow. The master of the eclectic, weaves a tapestry of ceremonial medicine and deep bass, infusing it with the raw essence of organic elements. His music blends ancient ritual with futuristic soundscapes, transporting listeners to a realm of movement and transcendence.

Rise

Rise Ecstatic Dance Bali
Alchemy Ubud & Uluwatu

Rise is the ecstatic dance community Acharya co-founded in Ubud, Bali, and the dance floor where many of his live sets come to life.

@rise.dance.bali

We started Rise in 2024, and it has grown into a solid, warm-hearted community. Every week, 150 to 200 people from all over the world dance with us at Alchemy in Ubud and in Uluwatu, Bali, in a beautiful space we love to hold.

Each gathering blends facilitation and live music into one shared journey. And we keep growing and expanding, thanks to everyone who comes back week after week and the new friends who find us from every corner of the world.
